Our barista will provide fantastic front of the house service making customers smile. Detail-oriented, people-oriented and team oriented, you learn quickly, don’t mind getting your hands dirty and can switch tasks effortlessly in a fast paced environment. Offering both seasonal and year round positions with full and part time schedules available – we are flexible with our shifts.  A love of Coffee will help! Cross-trained in front of the house duties, from specialty coffee, food & bar preparation, your job will never be boring. Our baristas thrive under pressure and have a strong work ethic. You will quickly make and serve drinks to customers with care and great attention to detail; take orders and handle cash/card payments through our POS; use teamwork to deliver speedy and quality service; ensure our shop is clean by adhering to our high-standard of cleanliness; be an all-around pleasant and helpful person to customers and fellow employees. We do not require prior food service or relevant experience, we are willing to train if you are excited and willing to learn!

Our baristas begin with Server Wage at $10.50/hour plus Tip Pool which average to $18 – 32/hour depending on the season and.  Employee discounts, comp drinks on shift, and opportunities to gain more knowledge and grow in responsibilities. Cold Line Cook

We invite experienced cooks to join our back of house team. Weekends are a must. 20 -25 hours weekly. Hourly rate of pay based on experience. Responsible for the cold line station including salads, toasts, sandwiches, and paninis as well as preparing soups.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service
  • Cook or prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food

Servers

We are growing our crew for the Spring/Summer season and are seeking mature individuals with serving experience to join our front of house team.  Position will be seasonal, but can grow into a permanent position for the right individuals.

Coverage needed for various shifts between 8am – 3pm daily; Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 5pm – 9pm. Sundays, 10am – 3pm.

You must be team oriented, have strong customer service skills and work well under pressure while being able to multi-task.  $18 -$32/hour weekly.

Duties include but are not limited to:  knowledge of Order & Pay by Phone and Toast POS system; keeping service area neat and tidy; serving food; busing tables;  running food and drinks, restocking front of house; thorough opening/closing duties and responsibilities.  Working with front of house team is a must.

Dishwasher

Our café is hiring for a personable part time dishwashers who can work in a fast paced environment and manage the stress of a busy kitchen. Reliable and with a strong work ethic, you are essential to our dish pit crew and back of house team. Easy-going and motivated by your environment, you must have a love of getting things cleaned.  You will be responsible for washing and properly sanitizing kitchen dishes and equipment. Keeping the dish pit tidy and closing out the kitchen with the back of house team. Wiping walls and equipment daily is a must.

Primary duties include collecting and properly scrubbing,  washing and sanitizing dishes, glasses, and cutlery, along with all pots, pans, and all prep dish.  Keeping the kitchen tidy, neat and clean is an essential role.  Restock of all dish after it is dried a must.

The ideal candidate will be:  punctual, able to work alone, and be organized with a strong knowledge of kitchen operations and processes.

20 hours/week.  Weekends are a must.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glasses are properly cleaned & sanitized before further use
  • Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly before and after  use
  • Clean kitchen floors, storage areas, and take out the trash; close out the kitchen with the back of house team
  • Keep cupboards and storage area clean and organized
  • Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning
    standards; follow proper washing procedures for sanitation of kitchenware and equipment 
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis
